Since it's been awhile since I posted any Kinks, here is a good, but hard-to-find collection of Kinks Rarities. This is a collection I've known about for a long time, but hadn't been able to track down. I had it posted here as one of the boots I was searching for, and just recently, thanks to Don at 'Anything Should Happen', I was able to get it. So here it is. As with most of these 'rarities' compilations, it's somewhat of a mixed bag (after all, there usually is a reason that most of this stuff was never released). Some of the earliest and BBC stuff is available on miscellaneous other boots, but there also is much here that was not previously avalable. I think the best stuff here is probably the later tracks (70's & 80's stuff), much of which is new and interesting. Overall, it is a fine collection of oddities, and a must-have for the serious Kinks fans.
